By Zayne Pua, Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH)
A wanderer arrives at a small village and rests in an inn. When bandits surround the village, the wanderer confronts them, negotiating before revealing his own sword. With a turquoise katana, he swiftly defeats the bandits, earning the village's gratitude. An artist, inspired by the fight, paints a masterpiece, and the wanderer promises to visit to admire the art.
About
Zayne, 14, thinks too much for an average teenager – FAR TOO MUCH. He was 9 when he had his first panic attack. He struggled in school, eventually reaching a stage where his thoughts overwhelmed and consumed him. Since then, he stopped going to school, relieving some of his worries. Art helped to take his mind off negative thoughts and the support he received from SAMH allowed his condition to improve.
