Disco Blues

Built in a long forgotten past, there used to be a DJ who had a radical idea to mix jazz and disco together as a new genre. His unorthodox yet catchy music soon took the world by storm and he capitalized on it by making his own club. He also made his own disco ball and when the lights turned on, every shade of blue danced along with the music. The DJ got suggested to add some decorations on account of his over reliance of the disco lights, so he commissioned an artist to capture the disco lights to the best of his ability. The club unfortunately got shut down due to a storm of controversy so now this painting floats between art galleries for it's "beautiful blues"

Zayne, 14, thinks too much for an average teenager – FAR TOO MUCH. He was 9 when he had his first panic attack. He struggled in school, eventually reaching a stage where his thoughts overwhelmed and consumed him. Since then, he stopped going to school, relieving some of his worries. Art helped to take his mind off negative thoughts and the support he received from SAMH allowed his condition to improve.
