By Bobby Yeo Teck Chye, Friends of the Disabled Society

In a canvas divided starkly between black and crimson red, a cactus emerges boldly, depicted in unconventional geometric shapes that convey both resilience and strength. Yet, within its rigid form lies a hidden fluidity, adapting to its surroundings. Set against this backdrop of contrast, the cactus symbolizes balance and harmony, embodying the interplay of light and shadow, strength and vulnerability. Its dynamic geometric shapes intersect, creating a sense of movement within the static frame, serving as a metaphor for life's complexities where opposites coexist in perfect equilibrium. The interplay of dark and light, chaos and order, weaves together a rich tapestry of existence in this abstract interpretation.
