Fascinating Autumn

Captures the flamboyant colours of autumn leaves which were green in summer turning into shades of red, orange, yellow and brown... What a phenomenon!

About
Teh Yong Kang, a visually impaired artist, developed his interest in painting when he joined Touch Art. He learned how to draw and paint alongside other visually impaired clients in Touch Art. After retiring, Susan Tan began painting in response to a church bulletin announcement seeking parishioners interested in joining a Chinese brush painting class in July 2012. Under the tutelage of Laoshi Yap and other painters, she discovered the love and joy of painting. At SAVH, she greatly admires the clients with visual impairments for their ability to paint and feels privileged to join them in creating art. Katy Lee is visually impaired, left with only tunnel vision in her left eye. Despite this, she is able to create artworks with fine details, capturing the beauty of nature and effectively communicating her feelings through her works.
