Fishes Out of Water

"Fishes Out of Water" captures the mesmerizing reflection on the sea's surface, where reality blends with beauty. A group of goldfishes in a fishbowl were swimming happily and contentedly, unaware of the real world outside their confined space. These tiny creatures couldn't tell the difference between the reflected world and the real one. They were so drawn to the beauty of the reflection that they eagerly jumped out of their fishbowl and into the sea, just like fishes out of water. This reflects how we can be so immersed in our own perspectives that we miss greater opportunities beyond our comfort zones. It's a reminder to embrace change and explore new paths, appreciating the hidden beauty and opportunities in life's reflections.

Finding solace in clay is Simeon’s way to unwind and to find his balance. His participation in exhibitions and visual art programmes at Pathlight and ARTDIS has provided invaluable experiences and exposures in his learning journey.
