Marina Bay Sands

"Marina Bay Sands" encapsulates the essence of Singapore's waterfront marvel, featuring the iconic Marina Bay Sands integrated resort set against the backdrop of the bustling Marina Bay. The artwork vividly portrays the serene river with boats gliding gently, framed by the elegant curvature of the bridge and the avant-garde architecture of the Artscience Museum.

About
William became quadriplegic after an unfortunate diving accident in 1981 and lost his ability to speak following a stroke in 2007. However, with much persistence and rehabilitation, his condition improved and William was able to move around with a wheelchair. Encouraged by his wife, William began exploring painting with his mouth. After hours of practice, he now paints detailed watercolor landscapes and views the activity as therapeutic, giving him strength and confidence.
