Daniel, a 19-year-old living with autism, has always harbored a deep passion for animals. His frequent visits to the Singapore Zoo, Bird Paradise, and other animal parks, even during holidays abroad, highlight his dedication. From a young age, Daniel also discovered a love for art, diligently honing his skills through home lessons, online classes, and daily practice. Daniel's commitment has paid off, earning him notable success in art competitions. He won first prize in the youth category of the Building Bonds with Art Competition in 2017 and was selected as a top 10 finalist in #GiveAVoiceSG 2019. His artwork often features motivational quotes, mirroring his family's hope to spread positivity. Art has become a powerful medium for Daniel, helping him channel his thoughts and emotions while inspiring others. As his accolades grew, so did interest in his paintings. A series of his works have been sold at a café in Singapore. Additionally, Daniel sells his hand-painted cards on Instagram under the username @paintwithdaniel, sharing his artistic vision and uplifting messages with a wider audience.
