The pink lotus flower is commonly associated with rebirth and beauty, symbolizing spiritual enlightenment, growth, purity and divine knowledge and understanding. This artwork captures the serene beauty of a pink lotus flower gently floating on calm waters, its petals delicately unfolding under the warmth of the sun's rays.

About
William became quadriplegic after an unfortunate diving accident in 1981 and lost his ability to speak following a stroke in 2007. However, with much persistence and rehabilitation, his condition improved and William was able to move around with a wheelchair. Encouraged by his wife, William began exploring painting with his mouth. After hours of practice, he now paints detailed watercolor landscapes and views the activity as therapeutic, giving him strength and confidence.
