The Sentinel of the Night
The Sentinel of the Night
By Bobby Yeo Teck Chye, Friends of the Disabled Society
In the hush of the twilight, beneath a canopy of indigo dreams, stands the guardian of the night – a blue owl, poised and regal. Perched on a timeworn branch, its feathers shimmer with hues of sapphire and cobalt, blending seamlessly into the dark expanse of the midnight sky. Eyes wide and luminous, it gazes with unwavering alertness, a silent sentinel against the encroaching darkness. The night whispers secrets to its keen ears, and the world below rests under its vigilant watch, knowing that in the presence of this ethereal creature, all is safeguarded until the dawn.
