Waterlilies

The red water lily symbolizes pure love and romance. "Waterlilies" captures the tranquil beauty of these blooms floating on a serene pond, focusing on a delicate pink blossom amidst lush green petals, embodying the peaceful essence of a garden oasis.

About
William became quadriplegic after an unfortunate diving accident in 1981 and lost his ability to speak following a stroke in 2007. However, with much persistence and rehabilitation, his condition improved and William was able to move around with a wheelchair. Encouraged by his wife, William began exploring painting with his mouth. After hours of practice, he now paints detailed watercolor landscapes and views the activity as therapeutic, giving him strength and confidence.
